SALON POLICIES - READ THE ENTIRETY OF OUR SALON POLICIES BEFORE SCHEDULING.

HAIR COLOR AVEDA hair color is up to 99% naturally derived. This means that it is made from plants instead of petrochemicals. This is virtually unheard of in the hair color world, and we love being able to offer you a safe alternative. AVEDA also uses a signature mixture of protective plant oils. Therefore, it is essential that you follow the advice of your artist and commit to a home care routine that includes Aveda Shampoo and Conditioner and/or masque. We cannot guarantee the lasting power of our hair color without the use of the recommended home care. Other brands are not designed to work with the delicate natural plant ingredients, and will strip the color and emollients. We like to think of our hair color as “dry clean only” meaning only the best for your hair color protection.

CONTRAINDICATIONS Please let your artist know of any medications, henna hair dye, and box color that you have used in the past 12 months. All of these are contraindications of hair color and may deliver unpredictable results.

OUR GUEST SATISFACTION COMMITMENT We commit to doing everything possible to ensure that you love your hair and salon experience. If you are unhappy with your experience, please let our concierge know immediately so we may create a plan. All service guarantees must be completed within 7 days of the original service due to growth of hair and changes in tonal value. We will never issue a refund of a service since the time and skill has been invested.

CANCELLATION Your appointments are very important to the team members of Salon Norrell, it is reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24-hour notice for cancellations. We always ask to hold your reservation with a card.

CANCELLATION FEE- A charge of HALF the service price is applied to the card on file for appointments without 24-hour notice.

NO SHOW FEE- A charge of 100% of the service is applied to the card on file for appointments that are No Showed. A "no show" is defined as a guest that does not call to cancel the appointment.

HOLD FEE- For extended appointments we require a "hold" transaction to reserve a large time spot.

NEW FORMULATIONS guests are charged $100 for canceling within 24 hours.

In the event that I am not able to receive the scheduled service for any reason other than that of the salon, I authorize Salon Norrell to charge my card the associated cancellation fee. I understand that any/all cancelled reservations for any reason including but not limited to family/personal illness does not exempt me from the terms above. I understand that any and all cancellations must be completed no less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled service, without exception.

SOCIAL MEDIA We love to take photos of our work to post on social media and use in print and promotional/marketing opportunities. We share our professional images on all social media channels (both the main salon social media channels and on the service provider’s business page). If you are NOT okay being photographed please let our concierge know so we may note it.

PERSONAL CLOTHING Professional chemicals may affect the jewelry and fabric of clothing. We do provide a changing area and robes to change into to alleviate any chemical staining on clothing/jewelry. Chemicals may stain through the robes, which is why we encourage you to hang your shirt and wear a robe.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS/CHILDREN/PETS This policy is strictly enforced. We kindly request only those receiving services be present in the service areas. Older children MUST be capable of sitting quietly and unsupervised in our waiting area. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child's safety in mind. Our salon is not child proof. Please arrange child care before your visit. We will unfortunately have to cancel your reservation (subject to charge) if you do show up without childcare. Sharp implements, hot styling tools, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. Service animals are welcome with appropriate identification. Friends/Family cannot be on the salon floor if not receiving a salon service.

PRODUCT RETURNS Your satisfaction is our highest concern. We gladly offer in store exchanges for all new and unopened hair care products purchased within 14 days accompanied by receipt. Hairbrushes, hair extensions, makeup, hot tools, hair accessories and any opened hair care product are finale sale and will not be exchanged. Hair extensions can be exchanged before installation and within 24 hours after purchasing with a 25% restocking fee. Any items exchanged will be for another item or applied to a salon gift card. No cash back or refunds will be given.

GIFT CARDS Gift card purchases are non-refundable.

PRICING Pricing provided by guest services/online is a starting price point and is subject to increase at artists discretion determined by product usage, technique and density/length of hair.

TEAM BASED SALON Anytime you need a fresh point of view, please try another member of our artist team. We are a team and we are happy when you’re happy. It is never weird or awkward for a guest to see multiple team members to find the perfect match. Your happiness is our happiness!

Salon Norrell reserves the right to edit or update these policies at any time. The salon policies will be enforced. By signing below, I hereby acknowledge that I have completely read and fully understand the agreement.
