Frequently Asked Questions
Why do prices vary?
As a result of their achievements, our professionals work at three levels: studio, senior, and master. While prices vary accordingly, every Level Salon specialist is constantly improving through ongoing education. Whatever level you seek, you'll enjoy superior service with a touch to make your day. In addition to full-price service providers at a variety of experience levels, we occasionally employ newly hired stylists referred to as Shear Talent. These service providers are fully licensed, but overseen by educators so they may receive industry-leading advanced training. The services these providers offer are at a reduced price.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
We understand that special circumstances are unavoidable and a cancellation may be necessary. If you find yourself unable to keep an appointment, we request a 24–hour notice. Guests who do not honor their appointments or cancel in less than 24 hours may be charged a cancellation fee.
When should I arrive?
We ask that you check in 5 minutes prior to the start of your appointments. We offer a complimentary cup of herbal tea or other refreshment and a relaxing neck and scalp massage with most services.
What if I am late for an appointment?
Our first goal is to accommodate our guests. Depending on circumstances, we may offer the same service with a different service provider than originally requested, or we may be forced to shorten or re–schedule your appointment. If you treatment is shortened, it will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed.
Are children permitted in the salon area?
Children are permitted in the retail area when accompanied by an adult and in the salon service area when receiving a service. For the comfort of all our guests and the enjoyment of your experience, children are not permitted in our salon area if not receiving a service.
Are cell phones allowed?
In order to maintain an enjoyable atmosphere, we request that you turn your cell phone to silent mode when visiting our salon.
What form of payment do you accept?
Payment is made at the end of your visit at the check–out desk. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express or cash as a form of payment. Personal checks must contain an in–state address with a valid Florida ID. If a Level Salon Gift Card is your form of payment, we request that you bring your gift card with you and present it to the cashier upon check–out.
Do you accept gratuities?
Gratuities are appreciated by the staff and can be added to a credit card payment. Envelopes are also available at the front desk for tips paid in cash.
Can I try a different Level Salon professional for a fresh perspective?
Please don’t hesitate to ask. All our professional team members hope you will feel free to experiment and work with other members of our team. Your happiness is our primary goal.
My favorite service providers are always so busy. How can I be sure they are available when it's convenient for me?
Many of our most popular service providers are industry leaders and maintain a steady clientele. To guarantee an appointment with your favorite provider, simply schedule it well in advance, even if that means scheduling it before leaving the salon. This guarantees availability with your service provider at a date and time that is most convenient to you.
Do you remind me of my scheduled appointments?
Yes. As a benefit to our guests, we provide telephone confirmation of all scheduled appointments through an automated phone system. We are also now offering email reminders of your appointments if you would prefer it instead of a phone call. If you prefer this method instead of a phone call, please mention it as you schedule your next appointment or at your next visit.
Do you offer spa packages?
We invite you to build your own service package so you may choose those services that interest you most. Our staff can help you book several appointments together for a full or half day experience and also recommend services that work well together.
What is the difference between Level Salon and Aveda?
Level Salon is an Aveda concept salon, but we are not Aveda. We use and sell only Aveda products in our salon, as do other Aveda concept salons throughout the world.
